Glenda N. Heslep

Glenda Nell Orum Heslep was born September 28, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Ocie and Lucille (Estes) Orum. She was a beloved sister and dearest friend to Mary Orum Brown. She was a resident of Canyon Lake for the past 13 years. She was a devoted daughter and for 5 years cared for her mother who had Alzheimers. Glenda cherished her family and friends and was always helping others in need.

Preceding her death were her parents, Lucille and Ocie Orum, sister Wanda Lee Orum, husband, Joe Heslep, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Those left to cherish her memory are he son, David Lee Barnet and wife, Michelle, grandaughter, Myrissa and grandson, Charles Barnet of Bandera. Sister, Mary and brother-in-law Rex Brown of New Braunfels, nephews, Rex Lynn and wife Lisa and Rodney Lane and wife Susan, Great-nephews Rex Robert and Shane Brown, Rodney and Brandon Brown. Additionally Glenda was blessed with many dear cousins of whom she always kept in close contact.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Hill Country Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
