Lou was born on April 16th, 1960 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to George Rudolphy and Jacquelyn Greene and moved to Texas in 1971. She resided in the Houston area and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1978. Lou’s greatest pastime was caring for and riding her horse. She always said it taught her great responsibility and led her down the path of independence and adventure that included sailing and travel. She was always described as a fashionable and poised young individual, paired with an unforgettably bold confidence. In adulthood, she attended Southwest Texas State University from 1978-1980. The middle of her life was an exciting time for Lou, when she exited college early to marry and move to Irving, TX to start a family. She worked hard as a young entrepreneur and built a successful sales career. The only thing that could slow her down was an accident that led to a long road of operations and physical setbacks. Her strong will propelled her to never give up on having a meaningful life. In her most recent years, Lou fell in love with Jesus Christ and leaned into her faith for comfort and strength. She was baptized at First Baptist Church Canyon Lake in April 2015. Since then, her grandchildren and music were the things that gave her much joy.
Lou was preceded in death by her father, George Rudolphy; parents, Jacquelyn and David Greene and brother, David Wesley Greene II. She is survived by her daughters, Alina Nguyen (Treavor) and Shannon Ezer (Zack); seven grandchildren, Jeshurun, Huy, Kyla, Charis, Jovie, Samuel, and Joanna; brother, Chuck Rudolphy; and sisters, Patty R Millspaugh, Diane Greene, Lisa Lothrop, and Deborah Barrera.
