Dorothy enjoyed reading. She read non-fiction books, biographies, documentaries and kept up with political current events and sports. She enjoyed watching the San Antonio Spurs play as well as the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans. She also enjoyed shopping for her kids and grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her children Albert Martinez, Arnold Martinez, Rebecca Martinez and Arturo Martinez.
Dorothy is predeceased by her parents and husband Albert Martinez Jr.
A funeral mass for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
