Dolores Moore-Johnson

Dolores (Dee) Koehler Moore Johnson, born October 2, 1933 in Niederwald, TX, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2020 at the age of 86 in Bandera, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Ida (Seeliger) and Hilmar Koehler of New Braunfels, TX, her brother Darvin Koehler of Denver, CO, her son David Glen Moore of Lockhart, TX, and her second husband Charles Johnson. She is survived by her son Michael Charles Moore of Lockhart, TX, her grandchildren Heather Gutierrez, Kristen Lind and Jacob Moore as well as 5 great grandchildren. She grew up primarily in San Antonio, Tx and eventually married her first husband, Glen Moore of Lockhart, TX. They had 2 sons, Michael and David. Later, she moved first to Galveston, TX where she met and married Charles Johnson. When Charles retired, they moved to Bandera, TX where they had a beautiful home in the hills outside of town. They loved the "country-living" lifestyle out there. She made many good friends in Bandera. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, camping, and having fun with her friends and family. She loved her children very much and was always willing to help them whatever the need. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels, TX.
