Beverly was born July 19, 1945, in San Antonio, Tx to Newton and Betty Brown. The family moved to Raymondville, Tx where she was raised alongside her siblings. Beverly was crowned as Beauty Queen of her High School! Beverly later married and had a daughter, Parris E. Cheney. The family moved to Houston, Tx where Beverly worked for NASA. Apollo 11 was launched by NASA on July 16, 1969. It was the historic mission that first landed humans on the Moon! Beverly worked alongside with 18 engineers and had an incredible role in the participation of the Space shuttle. To be a part of a historic time was very exciting. Beverly also worked for General Electric as a photographer.
Beverly was gifted in painter, drawing and photography though out the years. Beverly enjoyed sailing in Kemah and her world travels. Beverly was very traditional and had many gifts and talents. Beverly was gifted in family history where she and her daughter would research places, times and dates of loved ones.
Beverly and her daughter along with her sister Cindy Brennan and her mom Betty Brown all went into business together and worked side by side for 30 years! Known as Cheney Brennan and Associates and Betty Brown Real Estate was quite fulfilling for all involved.
Traditional values with a family of love made this world fulfilled in the service to others. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Newton Albert Brown and Betty Morton Brown; brother, Newton M. Brown. She is survived by her daughter Parris E. Cheney and sister Cynthia Lynn Brown Brennan, and niece, Lola Gibbs.
Beverly and Family gives a warm thank you to her adopted daughter Sandy Clendening for her unwavering service and love.
Beverly was a wonderful Mother and example to all that came into her life.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. Her funeral service will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1390 Hanz Dr., New Braunfels, Texas 78130. An interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 TX Hwy 46, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
