Anita L. Skipper, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the age of 88. Anita was born on February 23, 1932 in Tacoma, Washington to Frances Stone. Anita was the youngest of three children. She was a fun-loving person with a beautiful personality who lived life to its fullest. She was a California State employee and retired after many years of service. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. She was a strong Baptist woman and attended church routinely.
Anita was preceded in death by her mother; brothers, Harry Stone and Chuck Davis of Tacoma, Washington; daughter, Deborah Roberts and son-in-law, Bill Roberts of Layton, Utah. She is survived by her sons Gary Bray and wife Tammy of Warrenton, Missouri; Billy Bray of Sacramento, California; and Charles Skipper and wife Margaret of Spring Branch, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Brian, Michele, Evan, Joshua, Collin, Kaylee, Abigail, Michael, Christopher, Megan, Errin, Sarah, and Bethany; thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00 am at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in Spring Branch, Texas.
