She was preceded in death by a son, James Mitchell Emerson.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Emerson Perry, Angela Emerson Muse, and Bobby Manning, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Joan Lynn, Corey Manning, Amber D. Muse, and Brittany Melton (Jacob); great grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Hannah Taylor Dunford (Isaiah), Kenleigh Manning, and Winry Melton; and great, great grandchild, Nolan Dunford.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Cotten Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
