He is survived by his fiance’ Theresa Johnson of New Bern; one daughter, Angela Minty of Jacksonville, FL; one son, Brian Johnson of New Bern; three brothers, Lloyd C. Taylor and wife Virginia, James F. Taylor and wife Valarie, all of Jacksonville, FL; Louis M. Taylor and wife Sonja of Burlington, NC; and two grandchildren, Isabelle and Gabriel.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the funeral home.
