Wendy was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and niece. She will be missed by everyone that loved her.
Wendy had a love of animals, she loved all animals, especially her dog Blacky; who misses her dearly. She was a collector of all things wolf and eagle related, and loved the freedom that these animals represented. Wendy enjoyed coloring and doing crafts. She also would watch her favorite show Charmed on repeat every day. She had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She was always willing to lend a helping hand when asked. Wendy worked part time as a caregiver and cared deeply for those in her care.
Wendy leaves behind her husband James Swain, son William Walker, sister Donna New (Jeff), aunt Joyce Moore (Bill), uncles Howard Wood (Jamie), and Rudolph Wood, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made with the help of Cotton Funeral Home and Crematory. A service will be held at 160 SW Craven Middle School Rd New Bern, NC 28562 on December 1, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Please join family and friends in celebrating and remembering Wendy’s life and impact.
