Having one of the biggest hearts known to anyone, he always put others before himself.
He served our country as a marine for 20 years and served in Desert Storm while in the service.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Woodruff and brother Thomas Woodruff.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Masako Woodruff of Havelock; daughter Shana Rieg and son in law Marc Rieg of Leland NC; mother Mary Jo Woodruff of Fort Valley GA; sister Lois Altman-Heyn and brother in law Don Heyn of BonaireGA; brother Joseph "Jody" Woodruff of Hawkinsville GA; and brother Jeff Woodruff of Fort Valley GA.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at Cotten Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm with military honors promptly at 6:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the COPD foundation and lung cancer foundation.
