Theodore R. Craig Sr.

Theodore Robert Craig Sr. "Ted" of New Bern, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, July 5th, 2014. Ted was born in Union City, NJ and was a graduate of Weehawken High School. Ted served his country faithfully in the United States Army, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He belonged to VFW Post 5481; in Montville, NJ, St. John's Lodge # 3 AFAM, and a member of the Sudan Shrine Club. He was also a Merchant Seaman, Quartermaster of the Hudson River Day Line, a Golden Gloves Champion, and was active in many other volunteer organizations.

Theodore is predeceased by his parents Theodore and Gabriella Craig.

Theodore survived by his wife Monika Craig, two sons; Theodore Robert Craig Jr. of Stewartsville, NJ, Michael Scott Craig and his Wife Billie Rae of Harmony Township, NJ, one sister; Roberta Schneider of Las Vegas, NV, and four grand children; Michael, Andrew, Matthew, and Alyssa Craig.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Ted's honor to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital and/or Craven County Hospice.
