Robert Crawford O'Neal

Robert Crawford O’Neal, 89, of Cove City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Bob, as he was affectionately known, was a special man by those who knew him. He loved to dance and fish, but most of all he loved the Lord. His true passion in life was being a Christian.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Velma Watson O’Neal of Cove City, NC, sons, Ryan O’Neal of Texas, Jody O’Neal of Texas, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three step-children, Kirk French, Connie French of Stonewall, NC, and Wendy Larosa of Jacksonville, NC, one step-granddaughter, sister, Ruth Harrell, and brother, Glen O’Neal.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kirk French for all the love and care extended to Robert during his last days.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cotten Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel with Military Honors. The family will receive one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
