Raymond "P.J." Peter Maher Jr.

He is survived by life long partner Angie Maher of New Bern, his parents, Pete Maher Sr. and Sandra Maher of Salisbury, brother Michael A. Maher of New Bern, sister Jennifer Grimes of New Bern, nephews Mikey and Nathan and his niece Megan all of New Bern. He leaves behind his Grandmother, Luvonia Fann of Fayetteville, NC, Uncle Steve Maher and Aunt Steph of VA, Uncle Mike Maher and Aunt Jane, Uncle Richard Maher and Aunt Amby, Uncle Marty Maher and Aunt Ray Ann, all of New Bern, NC, Uncle Tony Fann and Aunt Julie of Cape Coral FL, Aunt Brenda Irrizarry and Uncle Hannibal of Hope Mills, NC and Aunt Robin Brunson and Uncle Scooter of St. Augustine FL. He was preceded in Death by his Grandma Lucy Maher and Grandpa Stephen Maher, Grandfather Hiram Fann, and Brother-in-law Bryan Grimes.

P.J. loved and lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed going fishing but loved nothing better than working on motor vehicles and working on his trucks.

Memorial Service will be held at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel on February 22, 2020 at 2 PM.
