Nora Toler Lilly

She was born on February 10th, 1933 to the late A.A. & Nancy Lancaster. She worked as a Lab Technician at DuPont for 38 years. She was a member of Kitt Swamp Christian Church and was dedicated to her faith. She was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jessie (JC) Lilly of the home: daughters, Carolyn T. Nelson & Ellen T. Wetherington; step children: Joyce Daughety & Mike Jarvis; grandchildren: Lisa DuPre', Neal Cox, Kelly Register, Robert DuPre', Lee Cox; step grandchildren: LeighAnne Smith, Courtney & Justin Daughety, Sabrina Briggs; great grandchildren: Kaleb & Emma Cox; step great grandchildren: Andrew, Serena & Scott Williams, Haley Briggs, Sophie Jones & Joey Briggs, Braeleigh Harris; loving friend, Denise Jones.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Toler and step son Ronald Jarvis.

She was a Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. Her passing has left a hole in our hearts that can only be mended when we meet her there but comfort sustains us knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to her loving caregivers: Lana Green, Tonya Dove, Audrey Swinson & Karisma Farmer,who provided outstanding attention, love & care during her illness. As well as Craven County Hospice for all their support and care.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service at New Bern Memorial Park.
