No words can fully express just how much you meant to so many people but I will give it a shot. Your zest for life, no matter the circumstances, was truly incalculable. AFTER "retiring" from caring for your kids at Howell's Center at River Bend, you continued to give back to the community via the Meals on Wheels Program and as a board member for the local chapter of AARP, along with your long time friend Sue McCallum. Never one to back down from a challenge, through a strong will and sharp mind, you even had Diabetes whipped and in remission! I vow to honor your memory by doing as you taught me, which is to take every day and make the most of it and never, EVER go down without a fight! On behalf of Debbie and Mikey we will miss you greatly but also will remember yet, another of life's lessons you taught me (US), which is that, and I quote, "Funerals are for the living, not the departed." That being said, we will celebrate your life and accomplishments always, and though you are gone, I give my word you will never be forgotten! Love you and I look forward to seeing you in the next phase of life Mom,

I really thought alot of your mom, she was definitely one of a kind. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Im sure there will be some hard days ahead but stay strong and you guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
