Loretta Jean Minniti

Mrs. Loretta Jean Beddard Minniti, age 77, a resident of Blounts Creek, passed away Saturday December 3, 2022.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm noon, Thursday December 8, 2022 at Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ and will be conducted by Marty Alligood and Kent Gurganus. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A private family graveside will be at Warren Memorial Cemetery. Johnnie Whitaker, Hunter Godley, Jesse Speiser, Charlie Speiser, Tyler Cornelius and Michael Minniti will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Jean was born February 8, 1945 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Walter and Eula Vivian Hamilton Beddard. She was employed as a telephone operator, was a volunteer EMT with the Blounts Creek Volunteer Fire Department and retired as a Communications Officer with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Department. Jean was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include, her daughter, Dawn Minniti of Blounts Creek, her son, Richard Minniti and wife Christy of Lucama, two sisters, Kay Hopkins and husband Gene of Edward, Faye Whitaker and brother, William Rogerson, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Flowers are welcome and may be delivered to Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ, 1998 Herring Run Rd., Blounts Creek, NC 27814 after 9:00 am on the day of services. Memorials may be made to Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ.
