Linda Sue Taylor

Born Linda Sue Miller in Catskill, NY on August 3, 1944 the daughter of a Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, Linda grew up in various locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida and California. She had a successful career as a high school math teacher in the Baltimore County Public School System and later at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD. Linda loved golf, horses and traveling. Linda was a resident of Fairfield Harbour since June 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolf R. Miller and Evelyn C. Miller.

She is survived by her loving husband Malcolm C. Taylor, her son Nathan A. Taylor and his wife Heather H. Taylor, and grandchildren Hayden H. Taylor and Kinsley P. Taylor as well as her brother, Richard R. Miller, his wife Pamela F. Miller, their son Douglas P. Miller; and also by her brother-in-law Timothy M. Taylor and his wife Shirley Taylor, their son Kevin Taylor, his wife Christina Taylor and their children Jake and Francesca Taylor, and by her special cat Dakota.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in downtown New Bern, NC on June 15, 2024 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow in the Harrison Center across the street from the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306, the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd St, New York, NY 10128 or to Christ Episcopal Church.
