Linda Woodward Flythe

Linda retired from Carolina Telephone/Sprint in DIAL Administration after 19 years of service. She enjoyed tatting, cross-stitch, crochet, and trips to the beach with her husband. Spending time with her family brought her the greatest joy.

She is survived by her husband, Stuart “Mac” Flythe, Jr., one son, Stuart “Mac” Flythe, III and wife Stephanie, one daughter, Christina Flythe Owens and husband Cory, all of New Bern; one brother, Roger Woodward and wife Joyce of Vanceboro; one sister, Gaynell Conger of Havelock; and grandchildren, Stephen, Avery, and Lily. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Luke” Woodward and mother, Ann Brouillard.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home.

A private inurnment will be held at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
