May God comfort the family in their hour of need.

Mr. Hundley was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was a blessing to be around. He will be missed but, I know he is so happy to be reunited with his wife and daughters. 

Sincere condolences for your loss. I had planned on attending but due to COVID rearing it’s ugly head, I plan to remember Keith with that contagious and witty smile. Much love and many prayers for your family Keith.  ❤️

I was heart broken to learn of Keiths passing but so thankful that we know where he is.  Keith and Shirley had a tremendous impact in my life, my mom and Ed's life and the life of my girls (the buy one, get one free girls)  I remember when Keith and Shirley started attending Pleasant Acres. They sat behind us - there was an instant connection with them and mom.  They were both so full of life, love and laughter- it was contagious.  Keith (and Shirley) will always hold a special place in my heart and the hearts of Ashley and Rachel that no one will ever fill.

Mr. Keith and Mrs. Shirley were always such great friends to my mom and dad. Obviously I hadn't seen either of them in many years due to my living in Virginia. With my Mom's passing in August I was saddened to hear Mrs. Shirley had passed as well. In fact they had been in the same rehab facility only a few weeks before. Mom's funeral took place just after Shirley's yet there was Mr. Keith at Cotten to show his love for mom and our family. It speaks volumes that a man in the midst of his own grief was thinking of others. While I'm saddened to hear of his passing I'm also thankful he didn't have to wait to long to be reunited. 

To his family, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Keith was one of the most dedicated Christian men I’ve ever known. His love for Christ was evident in his life. He was a prayer warrior, praying daily for my family and many others. When Keith was in his 50’s he taught Junior Boys’ Sunday School at Pleasant Acres, now New Life Church. He made a difference in the lives of those boys, including my son. My three children & some of my grandchildren were recipients of many two-dollar bills on birthdays from Keith & Shirley.  Later in life he taught the Senior Saints’  Sunday School class.  After retiring, my husband enjoyed that group & looked forward to their weekly dine-out trips.
Keith & I were once in a church Christmas play together.  I played the part of his wife. He often joked that I was his “other wife, Shirley”. He was fun to be around.  Always smiling.  Always encouraging.  Always exemplifying true Christianity.  His home-
going has left a void in our hearts & church. 
Until we meet again in heaven, Keith.

To Leith and the Hundley Family

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Keith. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Keith for many years at Weyerhaeuser Company.  I knew Keith when he was viewed as one of the most effective Forest Products Industry lobbyists in our Nation's Capitol. Years later I would work more directly with him when he was Weyerhaeuser's Government Affairs leader in his beloved Tar Heel state of North Carolina!  I have fond memories of Walking the halls of the State capitol in Raleigh with Keith. I felt as though I was in the presence of Royalty.  Governors, Assembly members, Agency heads, and even the janitorial staff in the capitol all revered and loved Keith and his authentic nature whenever they were in his presence. 

He had the highest of integrity, he exuded wisdom and he had a genuine charm. He was a wizard with words and dialects from around the world! He had a healthy sense of humor, and he was just plain funny as well. I often referred him as The Distinguished Gentleman from North Carolina--and he was! 

His memory and friendship will live on with many of us who had the pleasure of knowing this special man.

Leith, there are no words for such a loss.  Your parents were truly amazing, they treated me as family and I loved them both.  I will always remember them and I am praying for you now.  I'm here if you need anything and Rob said please let us help.  I'm sure Keith had something to say about the Washington Commanders, like They will always be the Redskins! Deepest condolences.. I worked with Keith at Weyerhaeuser Company in New Bern. Keith worked with the State Legislatures on behalf of Weyerhaeuser Company. Keith was a person of deep knowledge and respected by his peers. Always praising his sweet wife Shirley and his love of God.

Oh this made me sad for the family and so many others who loved and respected this fine man.  We’ve lost a good one. One of the happiest people I’ve ever known. Mr Keith had a special, vivacious, joy filled spirit that lit up the room. He was an encourager and a blessing to know. My parents and the Hundley’s were quite fond of one another and Mr Keith did my Daddy’s eulogy. How sweet to know that they are all in Heaven today with our Lord and Savior!! 

Mr Hundley was a faithful christian man who loved everyone he met. He always gave his testimony for his Lord Jesus Christ. He loved his Sunday School class and would call us when we were absent or sick. He loved Ms Shirley dearly and cared for her as long as  they were married. He will surely missed by his family and friends. I know you are rejoicing with Jesus.
