My heat is broken to hear of the loss of your husband,
John. 
I viewed all the photos in the obituary and am glad he enjoyed time on the water and in the outdoors, 
He always seemed to be active  and happy. 
So good to see the photos of him with baby Leah and already out in the boat with him! 
You are a wonderful nurse and I look forward to seeing you

Ive had the pleasure to call Lee my friend, I met him as many has. Thru the motorcycle community. My thoughts and prayers go to Lee’s entire family.

My heart is broken for this young family.  Sometimes we just have to ask why? We can only feel that God had other plans for this kind young son, brother, uncle, husband, dad & son in law. I pray that God comforts this family during the days ahead.

Lee was such a sweet soul and gone too soon. Sending love and light to the Puryear family.

Lee was more like a brother to me growing up, we went through elementary school, middle school , and high school together ❤️. We shared alot of the same friends.  We grew up not even a mile from each other, so after school he would ride his bike  down to my house and we would  play with all the neighbor kids❤️. We always looked out from one another!  He would introduce me to new people as his aunt, which I technically was , but people were always  so shocked because we are only a month a part in age ❤️ Lee will hold a special place in my heart ❤️.   I know he has gone to heaven and will be a guardian angel for sweet Leah!! I love you Lee, always and forever ❤️  Jonna

I’m going to miss my long time dear friend so much. We had countless “good times” over the last 24-25 years. We didn’t see each other as often these last 6-7 years, but when we did we always picked right back up like it was yesterday. Lee was one of the good ones. I will forever old all the “good times” we had close to my heart. Until we meet again man. Take it easy up there, and catch plenty of fish and work on as many Harley’s as possible! 

May he Rest in Peace for eternity. My deepest sympathy for his family and friends.
