John is the oldest of 6 children. Who are close and have shared their lives together with true love and much laughter. John attended Catholic schools and was very proud of attending Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx. He was a bright young man and a great athlete. No matter what sport he tried he was successful. He played minor league ball for the Yankees in Binghamton, NY.
He married as a young man to Corrine. They had 5 children John, Lauren, Michele, Twins, Danny and Jennifer. He also has 5 grandsons.
John met Diane and they married in 1996. He was close to her 2 children Thomas and Regina. Regina is married to Mathew, and they have a child Abigail. Abigail called John, “Funny Grandpa.”
He worked for International Harvestor as a bookkeeper and soon asked to be a Salesman. Later, graduated to VP of sales. John won many awards for his outstanding salesmanship. He was proud of his morality when selling a truck that fit the customer properly.
He coached baseball, umpired and refereed sand lot ball in the NY city area. He loved the Yankees more than almost anything. He knew stats and would have been a great sportscaster.
He was a funny man with many stories. His last job was a security guard at Fairfield Harbour. He always told the stories about the cute happenings at the gate of our aging community.
John recently accepted that Jesus in Lord, he loved that God loved us so much, he sent His Son to suffer for our sins.
Memorial service will be held at Monday August 5, 2019 at 4PM at Latitude Church 1732 Racetrack Rd.
