Jack as he was commonly known, was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Dow Chemical, was an accomplished violinist, had volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for many years, and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane, daughters, Carol, Margaret, and Jean.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral will be held for the family followed by inurnment at Christ Episcopal Church, next to his first wife, Barbara.
The family ask that in Lieu of flowers, a charitable donation be made to either Christ Episcopal Church or Habitat for Hummanity.
