Joan B. McIlwean, 70, of New Bern, died November 9, 2013 at home.
She was a longtime member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church and she retired as a manager of Fisher Oil Company (Beech Grove Fuel Market).
She is survived by her sons, Michael, Richard and Donald McIlwean, all of New Bern; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, November 15, 2013 at Beech Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Connie Stutts officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
