Avid cyclist and retired engineer, Jeff Enos’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Jeff passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with a long term illness, surrounded by his wife who will continue to honor his legacy by living life in his honor until they meet again.
Jeff was born in Kenosha, WI, where he attended school and later enlisted in the Marine Corps. Later in life he and his wife Melissa moved to North Carolina where they enjoyed the warm climate and being surrounded by mountains and sea.
Cycling and travel brought great pleasure to Jeff. He never met a ride or bike he didn’t like, whether he was crushing it on his road bike or hitting the mountain bike trails in Western North Carolina. He also loved taking annual trips to Mexico with his wife to soak up the sun, sea and sand. His most coveted trip was snowboarding in Switzerland.
The simple things in life brought great joy to Jeff. He loved a quiet evening at home with his wife enjoying a nice glass of wine or game nights where he would often lose graciously at Connect Four ;)
Left to cherish Jeff’s memory are his wife, Melissa Sellers; fur-babies Finley and Mia; mother Sandra Sommers; father Ken Enos and brother Steven Enos.
Until We Meet Again
We think about you always.
We talk about you still.
You will never be forgotten, and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk with us and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.
