Gary David Jones

Gary did not meet a stranger because he loved to have a conversation with anyone who would listen. To say Gary was a jokester would be an understatement. When Gary was not joking around, he would go out of his way to care for others, especially those in need of food. If you knew Gary, you loved him. He will be greatly missed.

Leaving behind to honor and cherish Gary's memory and legacy is his sister, Diane Oakley and her husband, James.

Gary is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Jones; his second wife, Peggy Jones; daughter, Amanda Jones; brothers, Robert Donald Jones and Raymond L. Jones; and sister, Joann Perry.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00-1:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Cotten Funeral Home. A celebration of Gary's life will begin at 1:00 pm. Following the service, Gary will be laid to rest beside his wife, Peggy, at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
