Clyde Milton Ipock, Jr., 79, of Cove City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13th, 2021. Often called "Ipockey" or "Berle" by friends and family, he loved to laugh and makes others laugh with his tall tales. He enjoyed his lemonade and was happiest when doing mechanic work of any kind. He always put his family first and would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone. He loved all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren but had a special bond with Samuel.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betsy Jean Register Ipock and his parents, Clyde Milton Ipock, Sr. and Celia Wetherington Ipock.
Surviving family members include two sons, Terry Ipock and wife Karen and Tony Ipock and wife Stacy; four grandchildren, Kristin Kosco and husband Nick, Kimberly Ipock, Matthew Ipock, and Samuel Ipock; three great grandchildren, Jace Kosco, Addison Kosco, and Miles Whitney; and one sister, Peggy Fulcher.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17th at Cotten Funeral Home. Graveside will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 18th at Greenleaf Memorial Park with Pastor Calvin Heath officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Breast Cancer Foundation or to Craven County Hospice. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Milton's grandson, Matthew, for his dedication in taking care of him during his final days.
Arrangements are in the care of Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.
