Charles “Chuck” Schrader, USMC (Ret.) 77, of Havelock, died August 15, 2013 at home.
He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Staff Sgt. Major.
He is survived by his two sisters, Elsie M. Cannon of Belton, SC; Maxine Schrader of Asheville; his best friend and caregiver, Betty "BJ" Edwards of Havelock; step-daughters, Elizabeth Olsen of Morehead City; and Amanda Castro of Havelock; and a step-grandchild, Audrey Castro.
A memorial service will be held at the Havelock VFW on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
