Amy Moore Newell

Amy Moore Newell, 96, of Fort Barnwell, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 peacefully at her home. She is predeceased by husband Charlie “Dot” Newell and parents, Bedia R. Moore and William “Bill” Moore.

She leaves children, Sandra White and husband, William “Bill” White, Myra Botts, William “Bill” Newell, grandchildren, Stephen Craig Hales (Beth), Paige Hales Gordo (Tomé), Jessica Mills, (Jeremy), Charlie Newell (Stacy), William “Chip” White (Joni), and F. Scott White (Beth), great-grandchildren, Kari Hancock, Bronwyn Hales, Seth Newell, Zachary Newell, Annabelle, Amelia, Allison Mills, Caroline, Olivia, Mary Elizabeth, Ava, Ellie, Claire, Levering and Catherine White.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Fort Barnwell Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 am, Friday, May 27, 2016 am at Fort Barnwell Missionary Baptist Church with visitation following service.

Mrs. Newell will be available for viewing at the church at 10 am.
