Alice Wallace Forrest 94, of Cove City passed away December 5, 2022.
She was born in Halifax County to the late James and Mary Wallace the youngest of nine children all of which predeceased her as well as her husband, Sherman Forrest. She and her husband owned and operated the Ocean Highway Diner in Shallotte. She was a great cook and loved cooking for others in her home. She was a resident of Craven County for the last 20 years. She loved her cat “Boots Anne”, shopping and her Bethany Christian Church family.
She is survived by several Nieces.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Cotten Funeral Home followed by the funeral service starting at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Bethany Christian Church.
