Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Adrien and Yvonne (Desautel) Gonneville, she and her husband resided in Acushnet most of her life.
Mrs. Pimental had worked as an office manager for her husband’s businesses, where she was known by many as “Mrs. P”.
She and her husband retired to Marco Island, FL for 27 years, where she found her love of tennis and became an avid tennis player.
She also enjoyed walking along the beach collecting shells.
Yvette also enjoyed rocking her grandchildren and singing them songs in which they always remembered with such happiness and love.
She has a fondness for cats, dolphins and snoopy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, George Pimental, Jr. and wife Norma of Acushnet, Wayne Pimental and wife Susan of Florida, Kenneth Pimental, Sr. and wife Donna of Fairhaven, and Brian Pimental and wife Lori of Acushnet; a brother Richard Gonneville of Mattapoisett; six grandchildren, Lisa, Joshua, Katherine, Lauren, Kenneth Jr. and Katelyn; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Muriel Perry.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church, 125 Main St., Acushnet.
