Theresa M. Grimes

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Samuel and Blanche (Henri) Girouard, she was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, Bingo, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her children Robin Grimes of New Bedford, Gary Grimes of Fairhaven, Donna Deneault of New Bedford, Matthew Grimes of West Hollywood, CA. and son in-law Daniel Deneault of Wareham; four grandchildren, Christopher Deneault and wife Rebecca of Freetown, Jonathan Deneault of Lakeville, Hilarie Pinard and husband Nicholas of Fairhaven, and Samantha Teves of New Bedford; six great-grandchildren, Parker, Michael, Gwendolyn, Lawson, Ryan and Ruby; many nieces and nephews and her special sister in-law, Rita Costa of Fairhaven. She was predeceased by her son Michael Grimes and brothers; Leo, Arthur, Alfred and Armand Girouard.
