Robert J. Richard, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Born in New Bedford, he was a son of the late Roland and Aline (Desroches) Richard.
He was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Bob was a talented carpenter who worked in the field of construction.
He enjoyed reading, skiing and golfing in earlier years.
He is survived by a son, Evan Richard; his sister, Denise Gautreau, twin brother, Stephen Richard and brother Maurice Richard; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services are in the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
