Pauline Benoit

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Antoine and Azelia (Chase) Turgeon, she was a lifelong resident of New Bedford.

Mrs. Benoit worked as a physical therapist aide at Lakeville Hospital and Quality Home Health Care for several years.

She cherished the time spent with her loving family and friends.

Her family includes three sons, Barry R. Benoit of Fall River, Joseph N. Benoit of New Bedford and Peter J. Benoit of New Bedford; her granddaughter, Katelyn D. Benoit; a sister, Doris Turgeon; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul N. Benoit and sister of the late John, Lucille and Helen Turgeon, Yvette Falleson, Evelyn Laquerre, Emma Turcotte and Antoinette Bertalotto.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Bedford. Arrangements are in the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
