Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Auguste and Marie (Bessette) Servais, he was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a graduate of Kinyon Campbell Business School.
Mr. Servais proudly served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal, African Theatre Medal, European-African Middle Eastern Theatre Medal (1 star) and the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Medal. He worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.
Survivors include his children, Theresa Muldoon of New Bedford, Paul H. Servais, Jr. and companion Maria of Dudley, MA, Patti Philipsek and husband Mark of Sandy, Utah and Paula McGraw and husband Mark of Mattapoisett; his grandchildren, Erin, Patrick and Shaun Muldoon; Stephanie Rodrigas; Andrew, Patrick, Michael and Kate McGraw; nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Leonard and Estelle Servais, his son-in-law, Mark Muldoon and his grandson, Justin Servais.
