She retired from the Titleist Company, enjoyed sitting outside by the pool reading, playing bingo, working outdoors, traveling and playing cards, especially with her dear friend Loretta.
She was born in New Bedford and recently lived in East Freetown. In past years she lived in Florida and Bermuda with her three children. She was a member of the Royal Travelers and Our Lady of Fatima Couples Club.
Survivors include her brother Donald Gaudette and his wife Theresa and sisters Jeanne Labelle and Claire Michaud, all of New Bedford, sister-in-law Doris Borges of Dartmouth and her son Michael and his wife Kathy of Westport, a son Donat J. “Dan” Le Blanc and his wife Susan of East Freetown, a daughter Diane Fife of Silva, NC and her companion Joe and a daughter Kathy Anderson and her husband Fred of Sandys, Bermuda; six grandchildren, Chris Le Blanc and his wife Faye of Fairhaven, Justin Le Blanc and his wife Stacy of Swansea, Bonnie Denault and her husband Marc of East Freetown, D.J. Le Blanc and his friend Danyelle of E. Bridgewater, Debra Toupin and her companion Kathleen of Plymouth, Michael Toupin and his wife Kelli of Stoughton and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Meisner, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Pajak and the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, especially staff on wards PCU 1 & 2, Crapo and The Oaks doctors, nurses and staff for their compassion and concern for our mother and our family during these difficult years. Words cannot express our feelings for all of you.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 9am at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 pm. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 2350 Post Road, Suite 201, Warwick, R.I. 02886.
