Mary Jane D. Rymut

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Frederick and Dolores (Houde) Almanza, she was a lifelong resident of the Southcoast. Mary Jane was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Newbury College. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was employed at the Acushnet Elementary School for eleven years in food services. Mary Jane loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren; she loved everyone in her life, she enjoyed cooking for her family, reading, traveling, music and Genealogy.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Costa of New Bedford, Donald Rymut and his wife Debbie of Fall River, Gary Rymut and his wife Kathy of Dartmouth and Dennis Rymut and his companion Villa Jean of the Philippines; Five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bruce, Amanda, Mariah and Tracy; six great-grandchildren, Makenna, Jacob, Victoria, Broden, Lance and Lilly; and a great-great grandson, Seraphim. She was the mother in-law of the late Ronald Costa and was pre-deceased by a brother and sister.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745.
