Lillian G. Hathaway

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes (Buchanan) Delage, she was a lifelong New Bedford resident and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, New Bedford.

Mrs. Hathaway worked as an inspector at Acushnet Company Golf Ball Division for 30 years before her retirement. Lillian enjoyed walking, swimming, reading, and crossword puzzels.

She is survived by two daughters, Lee A. Horn and her husband Richard of Acushnet and Jayne Thomas of Conway, NH; three grandchildren, Kathleen Andrade and her husband Robert, Susan Braga, and Kymberly Olds and her husband Chris; four great grandchildren, Katelyn, Justin, Abby, and Amanda. She was the sister of the late Irene Blanchard, Dorothy Bowcock, and Raymond and Alfred Delage.

Her funeral will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 9 am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford.
