Kent D. Aspden, Sr.

Born in Acushnet, he was the son of the late Irving and Jane (Wright) Aspden.

Kent was a graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School, and worked at Don Vigeant & Son for many years and PJ Keating. He enjoyed everything to do with being outside. Camping, jet skiing, snowmobiling, traveling, BBQ's, bonfires, and just being out in nature itself. Kent truly loved his family, his job and all whom he worked with. He was the life of the party wherever he was, made everyone laugh with his jokes, and his huge infectious smile will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his loving children, Jessica Pincins of NH, Valerie and her fiancé David Snell of Fairhaven, Kent Aspden Jr and his wife Erin of Acushnet, and David Aspden of Acushnet; step-children, Misty Clark and companion Matthew Carrollton of Dartmouth, and Wendi Alcantara and her husband Javier of Dartmouth; his sisters, Carol Morse and her husband Alan of W. Wareham, and Beth Campano of W. Wareham; his brother, Alan Aspden and his wife Karen of Lakeville, and many nieces and nephews. He was the step-father of the late Timothy Clark. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, and 1 step great grandson.

His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745 for family and friends to attend.
