Juan Jose Martinez Requenes, 53, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 17, 2023 in his home.
Born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, the son of the late Heriberto and Iginia (Requenes) Martinez he spent his early years there until coming to America many years ago.
Juan worked in the local fisheries here in New Bedford. He was a very hard working man. In his spare time, he enjoyed visiting with friends and family.
He is survived by his siblings, Gladis Elma Martinez, Luis Alberto Martinez, Blanca Idalia Martinez, and Tiburcio Martinez all of Monterrey Mexico; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
