Isabel (Jesus) Britton, age 88, of Dartmouth, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter T. Britton, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Cabral) Jesus, she has lived in Dartmouth since 1968.
Isabel worked as a saleswoman for Cherry & Webb for 25 years before retiring, and enjoyed collecting dolls.
She is survived by 2 sons, Mark Britton and his wife Joanne Jesse of East Freetown and Russell Britton and his wife Margaret of Fort Richie, FL; a brother Antone Jesus and his wife Diane of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers.
Funeral arrangements are private and in the care of the Rock Funeral Home.
