February 4, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the life-long companion and love of her heart,
Manuel Depina of Fairhaven.
Born in New Bedford where she lived most of her life, she was the daughter of Donald A. Park
and the late Phyllis Bramwell Park. Gladys was a Home Health Aide for most of her life and
always put others ahead of herself. Gladys loved and adored her family. She was "The rock of
the family" because her family was everything. Her hobbies include her love for collecting
elephants, angels, and teapots.
Surviving in addition to her companion Manuel are: her son Jaime Mourao and his companion
Heather Hatch of Marion; her daughter Shandel (Perry) Trinidad and her husband Rigoberto
"Ico" Trinidad of Wareham; her son Rodney Perry and his companion Shannon Antonio of
Wareham; two sisters, Paula Aguiar of Freetown; Rachael Rebello of New Bedford. Eight
grandchildren: Jared DaCosta; Dedra Mourao; Aydyn Santos; Carrisa Gula; Jayden Perry;
Mariah Trinidad; Alexis Perry; Masaydes Perry. Two great-grandchildren: Kaysin Mourao;
Nevaeh Grafton. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the baby sister of the late
Gwendolyn Osborne of New Bedford.
There will be a private showing for immediate family only on Thursday February 7, 2019. A
Celebration of Life service for all to attend will follow and is to be determined after her cremation.
