George F. Motta, 81, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Beaudoin) Motta.
Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Frank and Sylvia (Arruda) Motta he was a lifelong area resident.
He worked as a fish cutter and he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his children, Randall Motta and his wife Joann of New Bedford, Candie Correia and her husband Mike of Dartmouth, Tammy Araujo and her husband Norman of New Bedford, and Jeff Moniz and his wife Dawn of Lunenburg; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
