Daniel J. Brennan

Born in New Bedford, a son of Joan I. (Anderson) Brennan of Bradenton, Florida and the late John G. Brennan, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

Daniel was a graduate of New Bedford High School and attended Syracuse University.

He served in the United States Coast Guard attaining the rank of Electronics Technician Third Class.

Dan worked as a roofer in the construction industry.

He enjoyed sports, gardening, science and nature, and he was patient and wonderful with children.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his companion, Marcia Gibb, her daughter Jessica Belo, son Sean Gibb, grandchildren Zachary and Mckenzie Belo; one brother, Michael J. Brennan and wife Lisa of Fairhaven; three sisters, Dawn M. Landreville and husband Paul of Rockledge, FL, Grace A. Brennan and companion Paul Trombly of Brunswick, Maine and Laura J. Brennan of New Bedford; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
