Clifford A. Pina

Clifford was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Jose and Amelia Pina. He was the devoted husband to the late Joan (Gibbs) Pina for 25 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Jeanne (Grenon) Lassey-Pina.

Cliff worked for John Hancock as an insurance agent and financial planner until his retirement. In his younger days, he managed the shoe department at Star Store. He also proudly served as a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

His fondest memories were spent on the beach. He loved summer vacations with his family on Cape Cod while he retreated to Florida with his “Honey” in winter months.

He is survived by three children; his two daughters, Debra Lassey and her husband Keith as well as Kathy Smith and her husband Michael and his son, Steven Pina and his wife, Kim. He will also be dearly missed by his five step-children, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his nieces, nephews and Godchild.

Clifford was pre-deceased by his siblings: Anthony and Joseph Pina and Alice Briggs.
