Claire M. L. Catterall

Claire M. L. (Nolin) Catterall, 77, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Catterall with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Irene (Savaria) Nolin, she was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mrs. Catterall and her husband were longtime members of the NAWCC. She was an avid gardener who loved to grow beautiful flowers and vegetables of all kinds. She cherished the time spent with her loving family.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Diane C. Catterall; two sons, Dennis H. Catterall and Peter J. Catterall all of New Bedford; three brothers, Paul Nolin of Freetown, Gerry Nolin and his wife Jill and Donald Nolin and his wife Alma all of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Leo Nolin.
