81; of New Albany

Funeral services for Wilma Moberly Pierce, 81, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She was born June 5, 1931 to the late Valentine and Mattie Moberly in Estill County, Ky. She was a longtime resident of New Albany, and a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William T. Pierce; daughters, Lisa L. Pierce, of Louisville, and Stephanie Pierce Carbonetti and her husband, Kenneth, of Elmhurst, Ill; grandchildren, Meredith and Frank Carbonetti, of Elmhurst, Ill.; brothers, Robert Moberly and his wife, Ruby, of Middletown, Ky. and Vollie Moberly and his wife, Betty, of Louisville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
