William R. Boyd

William R. Boyd, 86 years of age died Tuesday December 12, 2017. He was born December 25, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Mark and Anna (King) Boyd. Bill was the widower of Helen L. (Heustis) Boyd who died in September of 2016 and was a retired truck driver with the Sealtest Company for some 43 years. He also was an antique car enthusiast and longtime member of the Hoosier Knobs Car Club. Bill will be fondly remembered and missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his children, William E. Boyd (Sue), Mark Boyd (Robin), Barry Lee Boyd, Terry Foster, Pat Vitiello (Ric), Kenneth J. Sprecher (Teresa), Joe Sprecher (Beverly), Betty Hart (Dennis); 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm Saturday December 16th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Private Burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
