Victoria Teresa Crask passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 29, 2024, at the age of 81. Teresa suffered from Parkinson’s and Dementia but always had a smile on her face despite her struggles. She was born on October 28, 1942, to the late George and Goldie Morgenroth. Teresa was a graduate of Providence High School as well as St. Joseph's Nursing School. Teresa was married to her husband of 61 years, Joseph Crask Jr. She retired as a Registered Nurse after 41 years of service. Teresa was a member of the sorority Psi Lota xi and a member of the ladies club of St. Peters Catholic Church in Elizabeth, Indiana, and also a faithful member and very involved at St. Martha Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a lady of many talents. Some of the things she loved and enjoyed were working in her garden, baking, doing arts and crafts, and taking nice rides in the country. Most of all, her enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by a son, Matthew Crask.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Crask Jr.; children, Michelle Kamber (Dave) and Michael Crask (Teri); daughter-in-law, Jennifer Crask; grandchildren, Tori (Alex), Zach (Rebecca), Nick (Kayla), Amanda (Collin), Hayden, and Hayley; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Brooks, Anderson, Lawson, Margot, and Julia; siblings, Rose Marie Ayers (Rich) and Marlene Ottersbach (John); and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses, doctors, and staff at Norton Brownsboro for their compassionate and thoughtful care.
Teresa's visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 7780 Buena Vista RD, SE. Elizabeth, Indiana, 47117. A burial will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery following mass.
