He was married to the love of his life Helen Timberlake Mundy for 51 years.
Ryan served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a mechanic by trade. He also worked as an employee for Air Guard Distributing company for many years until his retirement.
His favorite pastime was going to the casino. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind his wife, Helen Mundy; two daughters, Patricia Phipps (Mark), and Sherry Martinez (Mauricio); and son, Norman Mundy; nine cherished grandchildren, Timberlie Murphy, Kain Martinez, Maritsa Martinez, Rachel Wear, Jacob Phipps, Daniel Phipps, Shane Mundy, Sarah Mundy, and Jax Mundy; five great-grandchildren, Conner, Kali, Mauricio, Isaiah, and Noah; along with one brother, David Mundy (Sandy).
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Joseph Mundy, and Darryl Mundy; one sister, Shirley Mundy.
Visitation for Ryan will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. ~ to 8:00 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, 47150.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. until the at the funeral home.
Ryan will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park with military honors following the service.
