Ruth was a homemaker and loved caring for and taking care of her family. She was an avid animal lover and always had plenty of food to feed the birds. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma and will be greatly missed.
Ruth is preceded in death by a grandson, Robert “Jamie” Windler. She leaves behind her loving husband, Robert R. Ivey; her daughters, Linda Gainous (Ron), and LeAnn Swanson (Eric); 5 grandchildren, Ryan Andres (Chana), Jared Windler (Erin), Ashley Andres, Tyler Andres (Maranda), and Rachel Gainous (Jake); and three great-grandchildren, Autumn, Peyton, and Owen Andres.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, IN 47150.
Following the service, Ruth will be laid to rest in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery, 5719 St. Mary Road, Floyds, Knobs, IN 47119.
